Primary School Programs

Plus we can show some unusual sea creatures you can only see with a microscope … amazing !
Take a journey with a Marine Educator to:

  • Learn about Rocky shores, Mangroves and the Sand dune ecosystems. Discover beach flotsam and jetsam;
  • Create sand art and join in environmental games;
  • Take surfing lessons with a professional Instructor;
  • Kayak Estuary Expedition or Eco discoveries.

LEARN and EXPERIENCE  HOW ECOSYSTEMS FUNCTION and HOW HUMANS are IMPACTING AND CHANGING our environment.

  • Groups of up to 30 students rotate around the museum displays on a Neptune discovery trail designed to excite and create great fascination for biodiversity in our oceans.
  • For larger groups a beach or field activity will be added concurrently to accommodate the larger numbers so they rotate between the activity and the museum.
  • Field sessions are then run as a whole group before or after the museum/activity session
Let’s work together to develop a camp program that suits your desired educational outcomes and pupil budget.
We can offer for Years 4 to 6:

1) Marine Museum sessions only

2) 1 Day combined Museum and Field sessions  combining museum discoveries and a trip to the Rocky Shore or Sand dune or Mangrove ecosystems

3) 1 or 2 night Marine awareness environmental camps with accommodation and catering onsite. Here we combine field activities with interesting marine sessions. Lots of discovery and fun.

All sessions are assisted by Qualified Adventure Education staff.
