We can offer for Years 3 to 6

Marine Discovery Sessions

Discover our Museum and its collection of over 200 preserved specimens to learn about:

  • The animals of the Rock Pools
  • The secrets of the Mangroves
  • Dangerous Marine Animals
  • Animals of the deep
  • Millions of Molluscs
  • Survival in the Sea
  • Sharks and Rays, etc
  • Seahorses and other fascinating creatures of the ocean

Plus we can show some unusual sea creatures you can only see with a microscope … amazing !

Take a journey with a Marine Biologist to:

  • Learn about rocky shores, mangroves and the beach;
  • Discover beach flotsam and jetsam;
  • Create sand art and join in environmental games;
  • Take surfing lessons with a professional Instructor;
  • Experience a Ski Estuary Expedition or Eco discoveries.

An educational experience with a difference using a 30 year evolving strategy to make education fun, inspiring as well as significant.
     

A happy group!
  • 1 to 5 hour sessions
  • 2 rooms with a maximum of 20 pupils in each room at a time (Larger groups can rotate.)
  • Live specimens are collected for each excursion and returned to their home afterwards.
