Accommodation & Facilities

Accomodation

New dedicated student and teacher accommodation, in direct proximity to the museum complex, is provided by the North Star Holiday Resort. Each bunkhouse style cabin houses a maximum of 12 students with a toilet and shower for each group of 6. A small kitchenette provides the opportunity for students to make supper, morning or afternoon tea (no main meals can be prepared in these rooms).

The field trip can be fully catered at very competitive rates at the onsite PALMS RESTAURANT. The garden environment to enjoy your meals makes for a great time to network and relax after your busy field sessions.

For Booklet Time and Self Catering

Both the camp kitchen and the barbeque area make for comfortable group time and provides an opportunity to complete booklets before or after meals, after museum sessions and enjoy some group time. For those groups not opting for a hot breakfast, the camp kitchen is where you will prepare your breakfast together.
